Draft Day is an event where students participating in the Genesys Works program advance from summer training and into their internship placements. Due to COVID-19, the event needed to pivot from live to virtual. The Genesys Works team wanted to provide students and their families with an engaging and fun virtual event to celebrate the end of summer training and the start of their internships.

InHouse Media partnered with Genesys Works Twin Cities to produce a studio-based livestreamed virtual event. Originating from our studio in Northeast Minneapolis, the program included live messages from two students and the interim executive director, paired with pre-produced video messages from parents, students, and supervisors. The event also included a live chat, where student and supervisor viewers cheered one another on for their accomplishments.
